  • As the class ends, what is your input on its pros and cons (for improvement purposes).
-I would say that the pros is that the professor(s) in the videos are relatively thorough. They explain everything in simple terms and answer all the questions that are popping up in my head. The con would be the fact that in some of the video tutorials there were times when calculator use was needed. The trouble was that I didn't fully understand how the teachers used calculator/graphing features, such as scatter plots and regression. If there was a way to introduce calculator use to students, then that would really help!

  • What was your favorite thing to learn from this class?
-My favorite thing(s) to learn from this class would probably be either function transformations or long/synthetic division. I use to view these two topics as a challenge, but now that I've gained knowledge in these subject, I find them really simple! Horizontal and vertical transformations seemed like another language, but now I can identify the difference in a blink of an eye.

  • What was your least favorite thing to do in this class?
-My least favorite thing to do in this class would be the notes. Don't get me wrong, by writing down what I'm learning, it has led me to better understand the subject/topic. However, the notes would take a considerable amount of time to complete and a considerable amount of paper (but that's just because I have big handwriting).

  • What is your overall experience of taking this online class.
-My overall experience of taking this online class is that it has been an unsuspected surprise. At the beginning, I viewed this class as a challenge because I thought it would be hard not having a teacher by my side. What if I have a question? What if I encounter a difficult question? Do I have to complete my work in a certain way? These were the questions running through my mind. But this experience has led me to be more independent and to think before I ask. But more importantly, thank you to the kind and patient teachers who were up for the challenge of taking on this class! You are very much appreciated! Overall, through the hand blisters, coffee, and late nights, this experience was truly something else (great)!
